Remote start systems simulate the same engine starting sequence as your car key, but without the physical key in the ignition. This is made possible with a Compustar remote start control module and long-range RF remote.
When you tap a button, such as “remote start” or “lock”, on your Compustar long-range RF remote, it sends that command to the control module inside your vehicle. This control module then speaks with your vehicle’s internal computer to control your vehicle’s components, including the engine.

What is the legal tint limit in Minnesota?
Minnesota law requires at least 50 % visible‑light transmission (VLT) on all windows of passenger cars and on the front‑door windows of SUVs and trucks. Rear windows on SUVs and trucks may be any darkness.
What does the percentage (%) number mean?
The percentage is the amount of light the film lets into the vehicle. A 50 % film allows half the light through; a 5 % “limo tint” is very dark, admitting only five percent.
What’s the difference between Standard and Ceramic films?
- Standard film: Provides privacy and blocks UV rays but offers minimal heat rejection.
- Ceramic film: Two options that block ~70 % or ~90 % of solar heat, helping your A/C run more efficiently while still delivering privacy and UV protection.
How much does it cost to tint my windows?
